My background is in healing from dysfunctional family systems, especially the narcissistic parent. It is this background that continues to shed light on my work in same sex attractions.
DelightinU offers it's very own healing method called 'Closed Eye Therapy' which comes out of my background in hypnotherapy, however, it is not hypnosis.
It is SO powerful because healing is facilitated on every level: Mind, Body, Soul. We work to bring to light to the root of your attractions and allow the Holy Spirit to work in you. What is the 'Closed Eye' approach like in a session?
This method allows your body to guide us to a key memory, while your eyes are closed. It is here that deep emotions and shame that have never, or not fully, been processed are brought into the light and debunked. Likewise, the projected false self image is firmly renounced. But it doesn't stop there. We trace how the memory has been keeping you stuck and how you too have chosen to remain there. By doing so, (if Christian) our sin is revealed too. Once we renounce this, there is a call to change/action which the Holy Spirit will prompt in you. The effects are often felt in the session but also develop afterwards and the shifts start to happen (yes, physically too)!
I am a bit anxious about it as I am not Christian? You do not need to be Christian but rather just someone wanting to get unstuck! I have worked with many clients of various faiths and they have all experienced the deep release that this work brings.
How long does a session last? Usually an hour minimum.
Will the course be enough? This is dependent on many factors, but a lot of clients find that this was the catalyst. Many only pop back for a session every few months or so but others just prefer more regular check-ins.
How will I feel afterwards? You may feel quite tired or you may feel full of life! It depends. Often there is a sense of something having deeply shifted.
What happens after my session? You will be sent a short recording that you can listen to whenever you wish once the course is done.
Will it work? Often the change is instant but also it happen slowly at the same time. . It ALWAYS has an impact for the better.
