DelightinU is all about helping those who are in search of healing from same-sex attraction. My background is in healing from dysfunctional family systems, especially the narcissistic parent. I am also personally very much an advocate for detoxing the body and believe that 'the body keeps but also wishes to express, the score'!

How would you describe the entire experience...

What is the 'This is my body' approach like in a session?

This method is all about the therapist being a facilitator and allowing the Holy Spirit to get to work on areas of distress/disease in your body. It is your body that is the key, the gateway to healing. It is here that the memories that were never processed need to be brought into the light, debunked and the negative self concept renounced. But it doesn't stop there, this is also a means of understanding how your pain body has been trying to keep you safe! We trace how the memory has been keeping you stuck and how you too have chosen to remain there. By doing so, our sin is revealed too. Once we renounce this, there is a call to change/action which the Holy Spirit will prompt in you. The effects are often felt in the session but also develop afterwards and the shifts start to happen (yes, physically too)!

I am a bit anxious about it as I am not Christian? You do not need to be Christian but rather just someone in search of deep healing! I have worked with many clients of various faiths and they have all experienced the deep release that this work brings.

How long does a session last? Usually 45mins to an hour.

Will I be cured? This is dependent on many factors, but a lot of clients find that this was the one areas they had neglected to try in order to heal. For more deeply rooted issues, however, more than one session may be necessary.

How will I feel afterwards? You may feel quite tired or you may feel full of life! It depends. Often there is a sense of something having shifted.

What happens after my session? You will be sent a short recording that you can listen to whenever you wish once the course is done. I also offer this for single sessions.

Will it work? Anything we do in the name of Jesus always works! Sometimes the change is instant and other times it is rapid over time. It ALWAYS has an impact for the better.
